thanks to the inventors behind melodyne it is now possible to record a live instrument one time, and manipulate any aspect of the music without re-recording. in the past it has been impossible to manipulate chords in a recording, thus an out of tune guitar or major chord in place of a minor chord has been unchangeable without re-recording. this new program makes it possible to record yourself one time, and then manipulate every aspect of every sound down to the notes inside individual chords. which means you can now tune your guitar strings perfectly AFTER you've recorded it or change the chord from major to minor etc. check out the beta here.
