lift drivers

we have a lift in our church that helps us get to lighting and other out of reach areas around the crossing. i've always wanted to drive it, but it's a little tricky to say the least. thus, i went looking for a solution, and found this german instructional video for fork lift driving . . .i now feel equipped. it follows klaus the newly certified fork lift driver, and is an excellent resource for what to take into account when driving a lift. it gets really helpful about 2:15 in, and truly practical about 4:30 in. if you're excited to learn how to drive a lift, this resource is truly invaluable. . .though it is not for the faint of heart :-)

I quickly found that driving the lift is way easier than driving a car (the turning radius and the driver's view from the top makes parallel parking the lift quite simple).

Just remember, there are no accidents:

(This one is REALLY not for the faint of heart - there's a whole series of gruesome PSA like this from Canada)
