just saw WALL-E for the first time last night. it was AMAZING. i also read a neat book called 'tribes:we need YOU to lead us,' which i would greatly recommend to everybody (especially since you can get it free via audio books here). i'll write more later on both the movie and book b/c they both inspired me and provoked me a TON. the incredible creativity of both mediums (book and movie) has me thinking specifically about the marriage of the two. it strikes me that even as we become a more visual culture, the written word continues to inspire us, and is the backbone of many of the movies we so enjoy. like i said, more on this later...
speaking of the marriage of words and images, here's a very interesting dj who mixes video and audio. he's incredibly talented and opened for the blue man group last summer, and blew everyone away.
