satisfying

happy easter! if you haven't already gotten a chance to check out one of the 7 services at the crossing...come on over anytime! there are still 3 more services tomorrow morning 8, 9:45 and 11:30am. each service has been packed, and unique in it's own energy. the music is chill-bumpy and greg continues to amaze me with his ability to speak to the human soul, like no other. everyone's welcome.

on another note, a friend sent me this new song by a singer gal that's really growing on me. this song reminds me of a quote i've always pondered by cs lewis "if i find in myself a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the only explanation is that i must have been made for another world." i don't know if i agree with cs completely, in that i do believe satisfaction & contentment can be found here and now...in this world. but i think i understand that cs is saying our satisfaction is divine, something that can only be fulfilled by God Himself. the question is, "can that desire be filled now or do we have to wait till whatever is in the next world proves to be the ultimate satisfaction?" what do you think?
