New Project

A bunch of us have been working hard to learn the "ins-and-outs" of the recording process i.e. studio gear, pro-tools, mic placement, yadda yadda. Myself, Jim, Jack, Steve and Russ are being schooled by the most excellent Brad Booker of 'Stir' and 'Gravity Kills' fame . . . and we are loving every minute. We've had amazing recording performances from Jack, Ali, Eric, George, and the matchless Dale. She put us all to shame laying her vocals down in 45 minutes. Her recording technique is faultless, her pitch is flawless . . . and she says some of the funniest things i've ever heard i.e. "can we do that part again, my vibrato is too vibratious--you could throw a cat through it." what does that even mean?! i don't know but we're having a blast. check out a rough mix of the song we're working on "choice to try", on the sidebar. - - - - > - - - - > - - - ->
