my friend sean
i really like my friend sean kirkland. years ago (and i mean, a long while back), he and i were about the only "post-high school/pre-reallife" early 20 somethings at the Crossing (don't worry there's tons of us now). but at the time both of us were struggling with our past(s) and still trying to kick some crappy habits. not to mention, both of us pretty much despised the idea of 'church'. who would have guessed we'd both find ourselves--in many ways--giving our lives for it? anyway, these days sean is constantly sharpening what we do around the Crossing with his creative eye, and knack for incredibly insightful feedback, and it was sean who suggested i put together this series of blogs . he loves resourcing creative-types, and identifies profoundly with folks who are still skeptical of the God-thing, but like him, are open to being surprised. here's a recent snippet of a contribution he's making to the songs and scriptures blog called 'clap your hands say yeah'
