coldplay - video competition winner

coldplay.com has transformed coldplay from a measly world-class band to a soon-to-be fortune 500 industry. following in the lead of U2's mold (mass-marketing all things through their website), coldplay has expanded their influence from simple product-promotion to full blown contagion, constantly and freshly re-engaging their fans through free concert ticket giveaways, monthly newsletters with free downloads, and recently a video-creation competition that encouraged fans to create their own music video accompanying the song 'lost'. the results were apparently staggering with hundreds of entries, and many that garnered 100s of thousands of youtube hits. but alas, there could only be one winner... enjoy.

this makes me think of the good ole days of claymation...back when we were wee ones...ya know, california raisins?! and makes me smile :)
